so did you find any yet...

any JOY, i mean....I got lots of emails about my last post...so true isn't it?  and the funny thing is, we already know it....it just gets misplaced in places like this.... yes, my friends, this is my current workspace, the place that I am sitting at right now...

but I am not stressed (at the moment) about it because behind on the wall is this...

to the left of me is this,

and right below the monitor, above the keyboard is this picture of grandma...she was ALWAYS always matchy-matchy with her GRAFF brand clothes and her hands folded together in her lap...and I love this picture of her, because it is in my childhood home on 14727 Jacana Drive, La Mirada at Christmas time...how do I know that it is Christmas?  from the trillion year old poorly glittered crooked santa candle that sat right next to the bigger waxed Santa (that had a tag on the bottom of his feet that soaked in the wax color)in the window sill above her...I LOVE those things...the things you cant get back...but are forever engraved as memories in your mind....

I am so glad to see you join in on the Christmas journal!!!! I have been having so much fun with it and learning a ton about pulling out some of those "lost and found" memories and putting down on paper. Just like the ones you wrote about in your post. Funny how we keep those thoughts in our little heads - need to put some of that down in words for the rest of our family to relish. I can't wait to see your journal as you go along. Please Please share it with the rest of us!
