I am ready to hit the road (on new tires, I must add!) with a little time to spare so I thought I'd blog a little....
Yesterday I went through 8 cubes of butter...1 dozen eggs...20 cups of Flour...4 cups of sugar...a ridiculous amount of Chocolate Chips.....and well, my baking is done...and in the midst of pans in..pans out....I glanced out the window (Remember...Mrs. Kravitz....) and there was a steady stream of paper airplanes, bikes, scooters....kids....well..just take a look...
That makes me happy...even though it was a huge mess....
and this
also made me happy . Since we were heading off to the movies last night, (which, by the way...way sooooo cute!!!) I considered myself VERY WISE when I thought ahead....I mean it is a total rip that one movie costs $10.00 to get in...so while I was a Wal-Mart...I picked up the 99 cent boxes of junk to surprise my movie goin neighbors ...and that made them very happy......now, I know that you are not supposed to smuggle stuff in, but come on...for the amount of $$ I spent on 7 packages at Wal-Mart, I would have only been able to buy one at the theaters..and that would not have been enough to share with my friends.....
so now, my Flip & I are getting ready to
head out to the Unforgettable Crop and I pulled together a bunch of goodies (besides the trillion cookies) to give away & I am hopping that
this will make someone there...very happy...
okay...off I go....Have a happy day....

Have a safe trip and I hope you have loads of fun!
The cookies look yummo!

your cookies look so delicious? How is it that you get them so fluffy and chewey looking. Mine always turn out flat and crispy. I don't like them that way. I like them, soft & chewey! Hmmmm? Have a great time at your crop!

cookies look yummy...I so remember the hords of kids that use to be at my house when the boys were growing up...some of my best memories..You know they still all get together and talk about things we all did so it is worth the time you put into it...hey by the way I would really like your opinion on your FLIP...I'm thinking of buying one to catch grandkid moments etc..what do ya think?

Okay, this is a few days late, I haven't read or blogged myself-my husband is in the hospital and it's been a very hard 3 days and since I know you are a prayerful person like myself, I decided to write and ask for some. But the other reason for this is I LOVE the CKU idea!!! I am going to go to the one in August in Provo. Maybe we could do it after that, then all who have been could spread the knowledge. We could have special guests, our own TT CKU t-shirts-how fun! Let's talk to Nancy. I need and uplifting event to plan right now!!!
