I am not going to use up too much of your blog time with all of the details of "Where did she go"...all I can say is that we, the family and the dog, hit the road for a much needed trip to Arizona for some good ol' fashioned family time...we even extended our trip by one day....I know...we live on

the edge...) the kids were out of school and it was raining at home, so what the heck!) Wehad a wonderful & restful time (Thanks Mom & Dad) and I am refreshed & ready to roll on the next excursion of my Creative Journey...
but
before I continue on...
I must tell you that today...is Lain's 40th Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now don't get me wrong. I am NOT throwing her under the "40" bus...cause guess who is only about a month and a 1/2 away....yeah...right there with her...hey...40 is the new thirty....right???
I love Lain and she has become one of my best friends over the years...we have a very crazy amount of similarities...we travel well together...and she has been identified as my sister once upon a CHA time...(lucky her!)...
so please go on over and sing, or okay, type her a little birthday greeting.....
okay...and see that first photo up there....the one with a photo of Lain & I, oh here...
this is one of the classes that you can take from me on the Prima California Roadshow that is next weekend...Feb 28 & March 1....
You can go here to read all of the details....or you can Download Roadshow Schedule to get more information...
and speaking of Roadshow....I am working on one of my very own...in Arizona...Nothing huge and extravagant, just regular ol' Homegrown Me, filling a Saturday afternoon with creative chaos....so IF you are in the Phoenix/Chandler/ Tucson/ area...watch for details....or you can send me an email with Arizona in the subject line and I will notify you of dates....
and speaking of dates...
March 1st is approaching with lightning speed...and what is March 1st, you ask? It is the official launch date of my Online version of Homegrown Hospitality...not really a "magazine"...not quite an "online" class...similar to an "e-zone"....and a whole bunch of projects, inspiration, blah blah, blah from me....plus some recipes...doodles....some "snippets" of things from my "More Scrappy" Friends.....
Here is more about it:
For those of you who have been with me since my Creative "For Real" Journey really began..just grab a blanket and warm drink and sit back for a bit...
For my new readers...WELCOME to my up & down
Creative Journey...
You see...a few years back, I had a quarterly publication that was called "Homegrown Hospitality" published by CKMEDIA...
The name then changed to "Home & Heart" for the following two issues.. and then the last issue was called "Holiday Home"....
I say "last" because the contract was not renewed and the engine that "could" or "Almost did" (that would be me) was derailed..but not completely, and only for a bit though....
with God as my driver, and the help, support, motivation, prayers, suggestions, trials, ups and downs of my fabulous "pit crew" (that would be all of you)...
I kept' on truckin...
doing "This, that and the other" knowing full well that I was heading in the right direction without knowing where in the world I was headed.
Sound familiar...or confusing???
Yes, It is both,
but what has worked for me...and will work for you, is to just keep your head on straight, direct your prayers to GOD, focus, breathe and keep your purpose in clear view, oh and add in ALOT of Faith, and it keeps us on track...even when there are "little" derailments. To put it bluntly, my complete trust& faith in GOD has kept me from sinking.
He, God, is a funny dude...he has this wacky way of trusting so much in me...in all of us, and although the financial forecast is a little darker than grim....
I know...that the Creative Journey I am on...is the right one and that I need to "Keep the Faith" (as Bon Jovi sings) keep doing what I am doing...teaching from the lessons and choices of my life...and making things with paper...
and eventually, everything will be okay.
It has to be.
okay...so with that history out of the way,
Last week on my blog, I announced this.
It is my own "Homegrown & Homemade"version of Homegrown Hospitality...but online..similar to an ezine, but in my homegrown "way"...and similar to getting 10 classes..in one...but using the "stash" you already have...and you own pace...in your jammies, if you want.
Picture a "Blog-Like, Sorta Homemade Online Version" of the ORIGINAL Homegrown Hospitality...
Each H.O.V. (Homegrown Online Version) is planned to be released every other month. It will contain 10 Projects with complete full color down-loadable PDF instructions, Lots of "Inspirational Ideas" "Faith Filled" goodness, a yummy recipe or two..some good ol' commentary from you know who...and doodles, of course, that will come in full color and black in white, so that YOU can color them in!!!
So there you have it. I have a tentative launch date of March 1st....and you can pre-order your March/April 2009 subscription NOW for $15.00 by simply pushing the little "Buy Now" at the top of the right hand column
Once the H.O.V launches, it will be $20.00 "per online release" of Homegrown & Homemade....and you know me...I have LOTS of ideas, thoughts, inspirations and dreams..so you will not be disappointed!
I hope you will join me.
So there you have it...again...If you have any questions, please email me...I am working like a CRAZY LOON getting all of my ideas out of my head, onto paper, and then ready for you on the first!
okay...gotta go.....OH...I think the "Spam" thing MIGHT BE resolved....if someone could let me know...that would be great....if it is not resolved....
no comment.
Have a wonderful day......
Thank you all for being such loyal readers....
and
Happy Birthday Lain!!!!!!!
