Our lives and this blog need a little color...like when cheeks need a little rouge...rouge? I have not used that word in a long time...It makes me think of my grandma...
and "pop"...makes me think of my Aunt Dottie...
look at all of the words in this doodle...
read each one. Who or what come to mind?
If it is a "person" you think of, do they know the way you feel? Have you told them lately..or ever?
This doodle makes me think of teachers...
I believe that almost all teachers have angel wings and I have such a place in my heart for them every day of the week! . My heart is a little blue right now because tomorrow ours, and many schools will be receiving "pink slips".
I have such an incredible relationship with just about every teacher & staff member in our school and they feel like family to me. The whole pink slip thing just makes me sad...no, it makes me sick..to think about it.
Please remember to add a little color to your teachers world...today, tomorrow and everyday...

Thanks for the doodle - I could so see it on one of your beautiful canvas works! My husband is a teacher and I appreciate what he does and who he is. All teachers will appreciate your teacher prayer doodle. Thanks!

Thanks Stephanie! Your blog entry today encouraged me - I'm one of the pink slip teachers. There's been so much negativity around my school lately that hearing something nice about teachers was a really nice way to start my day today. It was like a blog hug and today was the perfect day for it!

Thank you for posting that teacher prayer doodle. It is so true especially the part "...but most important, to love who they are." I am a second grade teacher and I have the learning disabled students in my classroom. Everyday I try to live by the rule of loving them for who they are and not shatter their spirit. Every child is someone important!

thanks for the Teacher doodle. My husband is a teacher (36 years) he's retiring this June. I'm so proud of him he's touched many lives and was voted "most inspirational" by the Seniors at the high school he works at. :)
