Welcome & Happy ALMOST New Year AE readers....glad you are here! If you want to see what I have planned for my word of 2010, please scroll down to the following post...(but be sure to read this one too!)
It is not only the end of the year, it is the end of a decade! Remember how the world was going crazy about the whole Y2K thing? Gosh, TEN YEARS have gone by and so so much has happened and looking back, I do not remember a whole bunch, unless I look at my photos (it "jog's my memory")
I always catch myself saying "oh, yeah...I forgot about that" or "oh my gosh, look at how little they are" and along with all of those memories come tears of joy and tears of not-so-much JOY but regardless of anything else, it is the THOUSANDS of photos, my 100's of scrapbook pages (that are NOT IN BOOKS) and my pile of miscellaneous journals that have notes & memories that keep our family memories recorded (log my memories)
To this point, it has worked fine, but my brain is, um, 40, so it is, at some point going to need an external hard drive to help keep things in tact....or, like I mentioned a few weeks ago, this book, that is going to serve as my external hard drive for the next 365 days....
Kristen Rutten, creator of this amazing BIG THICK book gave me
one to give to one of YOU!!!!!!! what a GREAT way to start a NEW YEAR..I mean a NEW DECADE...
Now, of course, "to win..you gotta play" so, I will need a comment from you based around HOW you CREATE....Paper, Digital or Hybrid? and maybe, if you really feel like sharing, a tip on how you keep yourself organized. Winner will be announced on Wednesday Morning....
and
should you happen to order one of this books and want to "keep me accountable" for staying on task in 2010, let me know. I am going to add a page to this blog to record my progress and I think that you should too!
We can create through 2010 together....
See you Wednesday!
p.s..just in case you have not seen these.....they ship next week!

Thanks, Stephanie, for the opportunity to win.
I Create with paper, but definately use the computer to enhance my photos. I have been playing around some with digital. So I guess that makes my a little Hybrid.
Happy new Year!
Blessings,

I am a paper scrapper. Always have been, probably always will be. To keep organized, I have a notebook that I write down what pictures I took, the date it happened, and then journal as soon as I can. Then, I can go back and either hand write the journaling to my pages or type it up on the computer and add it to the finished pages. May not work for everyone but for me, it works great and helps me remember before I forget!!!

Paper and my brain is quickly approaching 46. Yikes!

I do a little stuff digital, but mostly like to play with paper. I like to get my hands "dirty" so to speak. Thanks for a chance to win!

I am all paper!! The way I keep things going is to CLEAN UP at the end of the day so I can start fresh the next day. I can not work in a mess. By the way I would love to have the book!!

Oh, I'd love one of those books! I am a "paper creator" - love the hands on! How do I organize?! I don't, I AGONIZE! I am so hoping to get more organized this year - my Hubby says that I am the most disorganized organized person he knows!

I scrap with the the old reliable paper, glue and scissors. I love it! I keep organized by labeling all my rubbermade drawers and putting everything away when I am done (ha ha ha! I wish!. I just figure that the mess is part of the creating process, and I clean up when I can't stand it anymore!

Really? Wow! I'm a paper crafter. I love to purchase, hold and create with all that lovely goodness. I'd LOVE a chance to win.
Thank you for the opportunity!

I create in paper, I haven't mastered or even attempted to try digital. Organized what an interesting word, for me that is a constant always changing with needs. I would love to save a have a huge, ok a room all to myself for crafting but that isn't so. I do have some space to call my own and because it's a new space I am having to organize myself for it. I plan on setting some realistic goals for 2010 and reaching them. This would be a great book to track them in.

This is such a good idea. Happy New Year.

I am allllll about the paper. And this book looks awesome!

Oh my what a neat book to have! Well I do a bit of all three. I do create better with paper. Just because I like to get messy with glitter, glue etc. As far as staying organized well...I'm still working on that. :) I do find that making little tags to go on my plastic containers sure helps!

I certainly remember the hype over Y2K. I graduated high school in 2000, so we called ourselves the class of Y2K...crazy that 10 years has gone by since then!
I am a paper scrapper. I have tried digital and it's just not for me. I *try* to keep my stuff organized with 2 drawer towers that hold all of stickers and such separated by holidays, baby, birthday...etc. And I try to keep my papers separated by holiday also. I could stand some tips on getting more organized, especially once I start creating! My area looks like a hot mess!

Another Paper Girl here.I do use the computer to sometimes do the journaling.
Organization? Mmmmm- that is always an ongoing processs. This last year I finally got the desk cleared that had an old old computer on it ( can we say dinosaur? ) and have BEGUN to organize once again.

I create mainly with paper, but I'm starting to do digi stuff, and merge the two into something hybrid. I need to purge my paper and accessory supply, so doing more digital scrapbooking will hopefully help keep the clutter under control. Trying to keep it "simple" and clean in 2010. Thanks for the give-away opp!

I do both paper scrapbooking and digital scrapbooking. Depends on what project I am doing. I have done digital scrapbooking and then had them printed through Shutterfly and mailed directly to my parents across the country. I usually do regular scrapbooks for us though. I am definitely an organizer and a list keeper!

I use paper to create. I love the idea of using the computer, but haven't taken much time to learn. I am not at all organized in my creative space - this is one of my New Year's resolutions. Thanks for the chance to win this book!

Paper!
I love the way the digital scrapbooking looks but I have so many supplies that it just would make sense to not use them!

I bought the book last week after you featured it in your blog...it's awesome and I am excited to use it! I typically create with paper. I have made several attempts at going digital ($400 printer, a number of computer programs, etc) but I am intimidated by it. I also like getting together with my friends each month as we snip, share, crop and create. It would feel odd to attend our crops only carrying my laptop!
Organization...well, that's an ongoing process! I subscribe to the theory of a household notebook but I have trouble making it work for me. I follow a weekly outline for my week with daily tasks that get done around the house and then I use a weekly agenda to take notes of specific things that I need to get done each day. I'm a visual girl so I need to see a list of things to-do and mark it off. My scrapbook stuff has never been, and probably never will be organized the way that I would like it!

I Scrapper in the paper and likes it because I think it's fun to work with your hands. Likes to alter boxes and other stuff.
My craft room is not organized at all, but working on it. Thinking about how it will be the best! But it's so hard to get it good and easy to work in.
Happy New Year

I "think on paper" so it only makes sense that I scrap on paper. Truth is I am afraid to even attempt the digital stuff, even though it looks absolutely fabulous!
I think I am more of the hands on kinda gal, not sure doing it all digitally would feed my creative soul the way working with the paper and "stuff" does.
I stay pretty organized cos I cannot stand a mess! I have a place for my stuff and when I get ready to create I "shop" from it, put it all in one huge wooden tray I found at a thrift store. Then I have all I need in front of me. Then when I complete the project I take everything back to their places....works for me!
Oh how I would love to win one of these FabuLouSSS books!!
Thanks for the contest!!!

I am totally paper, I have tried hybrid, but can't really be bothered to get on the computer to create! I am constantly reorganizing all of my supplies, so much that I sometimes forget to create things! I just must like to organize! Except right now my desk is a mess, gotta get it straightened up so I can work on a project!

Happy New Year! Happy New Decade!
I am a paper scrapper with a rare but once in awhile hybrid twist on my projects. I am with ya with the "um, 40"! I think like I am still in my twenties does that count? LOL!

I'm Digital, with enough hybrid thrown in to keep things off kilter. I used ACDSEE to organize my digital supplies, I'd never get any scrapping done without it!

I have been a 100% paper gal, but I am thinking of trying my hand at digital this coming year. Here's to 2010!
