This is my Mantra doodled out a year or so ago....and I just found it YESTERDAY and then read Mel's blog...

It is so nice to see some COLOR on your blog today! I miss your doodles. You need to talk Teresa into letting you use some color - there's too much black going on. I miss your old style, it was cheerful.

Lately, mine has been "Start where you are." It makes me take a deep breath and concentrate on being present NOW. Not beat myself up about the past or worry about the future. Just be here, now!

It's a quote by Helen Keller that I found when I was 10-years-old. I've carried it in my heart ever since.
(there are variations on the wording, none "official" that I can find, but this is the first version I saw)

I'm glad to see your doodles again too. They are colorful and inspire me. My current mantra is... Worry is a thief of Joy. A simple reminder to not let worry rob me of my joy.
