Oh, if you were a fly on the wall and you were watching my process of how I create...you would fly away! I create my own chaos, I know..but it is my process. I can spend hours on something, and then, that GOD given technique of intuition kicks in...and that "something just is not right" feeling comes over me..
So in a nutshell, here is how one thing ...becomes another (I should have filmed it!) I started with a blank canvas, some Mod Podge, some white paper, a sponge, some string and some watercolors..
and it became this...
but I just was not loving it...I did not hate it..just did not love it...so I let it sit for hours and came back to it, and painted over the entire thing...and grabbed LOTS of torn paper and Mod Podge
and created a paper mosaic (not a great idea for paper hoarders like me because now I will NEVER throw another scrap away!)....and it became this
except...I did not love it. I liked it, but felt that it was not me. Maybe because it was mostly pink, and I only like PINK (the singer) and I just was not feeling it....so...after several hours of just leaving it alone, I came back to it...
and painted over it...(see I told you that you'd want to fly away!)..I painted over the hearts..I painted over the background...over the string...I used the sponge..I wiped this, that and the other...
and I LOVE it.
Now, I know that we are all different (duh!) and have different tastes & styles...and I also know that I can not please everyone (dang it!) and some of you are going to LOVE one of these..and possibly....HATE another, (well maybe not hate)..but you know what I mean!
so, which one is your favorite?
1 (paint and strings)
2 (Mosaic papers)
3 (paint, Mosaic,paint)
and because I am GODS Creative CRASH test DUMMY and HE fills my head with ideas and inspiration which leads me to create ALOT...over and over...I kept going...and here is just a look at what is being cultivated right now....

(2) Mosaic papers works for me!

I like #3. The first one is too perfect and clean. The second one just grates on my nerves probably because of the colors in the hearts. The third one is slightly messy, has depth, and tones down that red. I think I will like #4 even better because of the flowers.

I like em all, but love #2.
You are so creative!

Isn't that how it goes with our creating. I too have to let it sit sometimes and come back another time. What is funny is sometimes I make something and say, 'No, don't like it and put it away (because I can't bring myself to throw it away) and then 3 months later I come upon it and say 'Wow I love this!" Go figure. Anyway I love the 3rd 'paint, mosaic, paint' You do such wonderful work. Love it!! :D

I like them all, but I love #3...but most of all I really LOVE seeing the process that got you there. How many times have people asked you, how did you think of this or that or the other, and you can't really tell them...other than it all comes together after trying this that and the other. Thank you so much for sharing this story...I now know that "I AM
OK". Nancy in So Cal

I love the last one. But I also love the roses in the final picture of all you had been working on. You will have to tell us how you did them.

Seriously. The first thing that popped into my head was "you are so brave!" Really. I need long shots of the last two, because I think I love both of them. But I liked every version :)

I like them all. Each is different and unique. I thinks it's cool that you were able to walk away and then come back and totally change it. I don't know that I would be able to do that.

My favorite is the paint, mosaic, paint!!! To have the courage to keeping adding and changing!!! It looks great! Have a great weekend!

I LOVE #3... but only because of what you went through to get there!!
The texture from the papers added SO much!

Being a scrapbooker, I of course loved #2!

I like #1 the most. I think you must be your own worst critic though. All of them show what talent you have.

Definitely #3. Good choice.
