Happiness is having people in your life that continually remind, inspire and motivate you to be the best person GOD created you to be...

Happiness is having special friends that share & send you wool sleeves to create things with....

Happiness is making little wool roses and then placing them in a box for those last minute ideas that pop into my head..{alot...}

Happiness is a manila hanging tag that can be used at a moments notice, embellished with lil roses from wool that was sent to you by a special friend to simply say Happy Birthday to those amazing people in our lives.  

 
Happiness is realizing that it all is really simple...duh!

Cultivate, Practice & Embrace

Our Southern California forecast calls for sun and it is a GREAT way to kickoff our last week day before spring break begins!!!!

 
Starting later this afternoon, before soccer drop off and track pick up,  in-between morning meetings, laundry, a good run and a trip to the local farmers market, I am starting the "Great Shead-teau Re-do" and planting the ol "Homegrown Garden 2011"

"Practice these things and devote yourself to them, in order that your progress may be seen by all" 1 Tim.4:15

My way too many weeks of Mod Podge mess in the the ol' garage-mah-hall got the best of me and this morning I woke up and in my early morning quiet time, I tiddy'd it all up and now it is all ready to be transported to a new spot, well as soon as I make one...

 
Seriously, things like this make me giddy and while these are two big jobs that will take a while to work on, cultivate and finish in between normal daily life, I am excited, motivated and ready for the next part of my change....

 What's on your mind...what needs to be cultivated....tiddy'd up???There is no better time than NOW to embrace the chance to change, cultivate a plan and get to work!

True Scrap 2011 Recap

 
Pete and I had a great weekend....

True Scrap was an inspirational success and regardless of my "Homegrown Video" I left with a smile, some good ol' Ali Edwards "I am going to start scrapbooking" feelings, a reminder of love and happiness for what I get to do for a living and a very proud feeling for one of my best creative friend's Lain.

Well done friend...now rest for a day!

Of course, just like anything else on the internet, it had its glitches...but all was well and I am hoping to be invited back for True Scrap 2012 (hint hint). I mentioned during the live chat that we should take it on the road in a big bus...

hey, who knows..let a girl dream.

Lain and I have had our share of fun times...on land and at sea...so who knows, maybe True Scrap will hit the high seas...board a ship..film a reality show for Brave...wouldn't that be fun! Just thinking out-loud...and remembering good times!

That question will be asked first by Ryan Seacrest as we walk the Red Carpet at the 2012 Academy Awards....

First stop at E!, then Mario Lopez from Access Hollywood, hopefully that funny guy that Jay Leno sends out....I wonder what color looks best on me....Chances are Joan Rivers will rip us to shreds, well maybe...and I probably will not be able to eat 99% of the food prepared by Wolfgang Puck but I am pretty sure that I will be not only invited, but better..nominated in the category of cinematography (don't even know how to spell the dang word) for my short feature film that is part of True Scrap 2011 and I am going to take Lain with me.

Wait, you did not know that I have a video in the class...well, as of 4:30 am THIS MORNING I do....

well, duh, no, because I had never made a video..

until this morning....

and Lainie has promised me to be my best friend forever...and share lots of chips and salsa with me...and give me all of the donut store ice I would ever want...
