Dear {insert your name here}
While I was gone "pausing" from the blog world, I just sat and watched my roses bloom...
ya, right!
Well, I did not sit and watch them but I did actually water them, and then stood and gazed at them for maybe 3.4 seconds as I was probably racing out to the car from carpool this and pick up that, but they are beautiful!
oh, and I had have a fever...
A Royal Fever because I "LOVE" love and tradition and romance and vows and prayers and beautiful Churches and Kate...and cute Harry...okay, and William...and I have a hole in my heart for Diana.
Now, truth be told, I was not planning to watch the live wedding coverage because I knew that it would be on every channel for days (even though I watched Diana and Charles 30 years ago and my "first" wedding dress had puffs on my shoulders as big as globes like Diana's) I honestly had not paid any attention to all of the "pre" countdown Royal Wedding stuff..
but..
I woke up at 1:20 something on wedding day and never went back to bed! Now, a few days later, I still have the royal fever and REALLY want to go to England!
(insert dreams and wishes)
Until then..I am focused on North Carolina (it is a little royal, right?) and have almost got all of my boxes packed and shipped for Inspired, amen! I am currently printing out instruction/technique sheets...yadda yadda yadda and...finished up the Make-N-Take for the Groves "On Site Store" using some of my favorite things...
and I am thinking that creative souls in England would totally want to make these..just sayin.
I hope to see you there, In North Carolina, well and England, too. "My home-sick-before-I-leave-self" says that two weeks from now, I will be home!
Mostly, what I have been doing in-between watching "Piers Morgan Royal Wedding Recap" and laundry is...well,
I have been doodling up a storm with my new stamps...and they are dang cute.
Seriously, I am not such a good stamper (but would learn better skills if I was teaching in England), but really, because these are "doodl-ish" it makes it perfect for me....and I believe they debut tomorrow...(Monday) over at Purple Onion Designs. As soon as they do, I will post what I have created..for now, I should go.
OH LOOK..here are some peeks:
