Thanks so much for sharing and reminding me that life isn't about things! God bless you and your sweet family.

Hi Stephanie. I am in the HBHS class with you. I'm really drawn to your artwork. I've never been to your blog before but the way that you doodle is extremely powerful to me. I've been a doodler most of my life but I gave it up for a long time. As long as I was NOT doodling, I felt I was suffocating a small part of me. The inner child part. The unconscious just didn't feel happy. I'm getting back into it slowly. The first few times, it was grueling. Yuck. Then it starts to flow. I start to feel like maybe I'll get to that place where I spend an hour doodling and all the while daydreaming and having no idea what I'm drawing and when I'm done I look down and HOLY COW there is this finished piece from somewhere inside of me. That used to just be status quo. I am finding my way back to that. I have a little handwriting envy going on of you! That's the one place I get super frustrated and always have. I don't ever like the way that I write in my art journal or around my doodles. Frustrating.
Anyway, I'm a new reader and here to stay, I just love your work!
see you in class!

Love this and it is so true:)

A good reminder, Stephanie, and an adorable doodle!! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for your great comment Jessica...I am happy that you are finding happiness not only in my doodles but in finding your way back to doodling yourself!

Thanks Kathryn!

Thanks Jean!

Thanks Kate!

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!! It really hits home with me! My sons and I have a small house (a bit under 900sq ft)and as they get older (almost 13 and 9) I would like a bit of a bigger house but I love that no matter where we are we are still close to each other. I would love to order a print of this one day ;)
