I used to think, say and tell people that "Having Faith is Easy and Being Brave is Hard"
but I was wrong and by being wrong, I have learned what is right...Whew!
I have learned and now believe that it is one in the same...that "being brave" part is what I have to do to demonstrate and strengthen my faith one..step..at..a..time..
"Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

Where do you get your letters? Are they stickers or cut from something?

Haha... I love it! Just what I'm going through! It takes tons of bravery to step out in Faith!!! But without faith, it's impossible to please God... so there you go! By being brave... we're pleasing the One who helps us be brave in the first place!
Onward and upward!
Have a great week!

This morning Pastor read out of 1 Sam 17 the story of David and Goliath, and it got me thinking more deeply about faith...David "ran quickly toward the battle line to meet (Goliath)". (V48)
Ran quickly toward the giant that he had just rebuked sternly. The giant that Israel had run away from for fourty days!!!
I am praying for that kind of faith. None of the tentative, none of the fearful, but absolute confidence in the Lord who is on my side.
(Have I told you that I love your doodles?) ;0)

I just wanted to say thank you. You are the second person today that has posted Deuteronomy 31:6, I the first time I read it I knew it was for me today. So I think that you are my confirmation that it really is for me. I hope you have a wonderful week.

At a low point in my angst filled teen years (weren't they all?) I ran out of a class and hid in the teacher's lounge. I picked up the bible from the table and asked God to help me. I opened it up and random and Deut. 31:6 was the first passage I saw. It's been my go to verse ever since!
