Boiling an egg - okay. Peeling an egg is an art/skill/impossible task.

Try this: As soon as they are cooked, take them off of the stove, run cold water over them for a few minutes, let them sit in cold water for a while then take one out roll it on the counter until all the shell is "cracked up" and viola! it should work! Works for me every time!
PS Love all of your eggs! Even the "egg-stra" challenged ones!

The doodle egg is so cute

Love it, have fun!!!! (Mom's are the best.) :)

you are too darn cute, stephanie. happy easter!

I LOVE the chick in the egg. =D

Looks like your eggs were too fresh. Hard boiled eggs work best with eggs that have been in the fridge for a couple of weeks.

Welcome to my club!!!!! Not all eggs are created equal! I did however do pretty well with the bunch I did this week for pickling! 2 out of 30 is progress for me! Happy Easter!

I've been there before!! I found the secret is to ut the eggs in cold water and add lots (I add almost 1/4 cup) of salt (don't worry it doesn't change the taste of them) to the water. Bring it to a boil then put a lid on them and take them off the heat. After ten minutes rinse in cold water and peel them. See if that makes it any easier. Happy Easter!!

Ha! That is funny Stephanie! I just got through fighting my way through peeling a dozen eggs to add to my potatoe salad that I am making for our Easter dinner. It is so frustrating when they don't cooperate! I once asked some friends of mine what might be the problem because sometimes eggs are really hard to peel and sometimes not so bad. They told me that the fresher the eggs the harder they would be to peel so to buy my eggs a few weeks earlier if I want easier to peel eggs. Don't know if that's true but just thought I would pass on that little tidbit of info. BTW I love your artwork, and you inspire me to let my light shine for Jesus in my own art as well. God bless you! Lori

Eggs that are too "fresh" are IMPOSSIBLE to peel!! You are so stinking cute, Stephanie! Have a blessed time with your mom!!
