I am quoting "The Seed" again and using the Tim Holtz Distress Markers to help influence happiness.
Who knew a book & a marker would make a girl so happy. You may want to consider getting the book and the markers, well and a highlighter for the things in the book you want to remember.
I was inspired by the colors in the wrapping paper I had so I pulled out the markers closest to them. Using the brush tip and watercolor paper, I just added the color onto the paper:
Then because I was playing, I placed a papertowel on top of the page and with a little spray bottle, I soaked the papertowel with water, patted it down and let it sit for a minute or two. Then I pulled off the papertowel and was happy to see that it now looked like corduroy..Yay!!
Then I used a heat gun to dry it which took about a whole minute.
Insert Picket Fence.
Not an actual fence, a pen. A magic pen that is a happiness influencer on its very own.
Wrote out my word, watched the magic happen, traced the word, wrote out the excerpt from the book, added another word in Picket Fence, traced around it and called it done.
Today, be a happiness influencer.
Just added...I got an idea...
okay...happier than before..

LOVE this! Keep going back and forth on the markers because I have so many markers! Have to admit I do love those colors. Love the quote too.

I don't comment often even though I read everything you post and like it. I am amazed at how creative you are and how God just seems to pop things into your mind like this. God is good.

Love this, and although cutting it up must be hard, it looks great. I think I need some distress markers.

I popped over to your blog from Pinterest. I am so happy I did. You're blog has - in all of 15 mins - inspired me and filled me with hope. I've been toying with the idea of art journaling... finally yesterday I ordered my moleskine book and a few nifty supplies. It really intimidates me - maybe because I've been "scared" of messing something up (I've been scrapbooking/cardmaking for a few years now) but it's been calling to me for such a while. I'm excited to get started - your art is so inspiring and your spirit too, you've inspired me to do it and be happy with it :).
I hope you don't mind, but I want to add your blog link to my blog's sidebar so I can share it with my friends/blog followers - and visit again myself.
