WARNING: Todays post is random to say the least and may be confusing. It is about what is on my mind (but quite possibly what might be what is on your mind.)
I have been juggling, focusing and paying attention to words that keep popping up in my life the past few months and I have been putting them down on paper, ink, paint and adding them to projects I am working on.
I am sharing my words & thoughts today because one thing I have learned along the way is that we are all in the same boat at one point or another so while one word might not apply to you right now, it has or most likely, it will.True I am constantly inspired by others creative endeavors via blogs, Pinterest, Instragram, etc. and want to try 95% of everything I see. That is a good/bad thing. I look at it like on the job experience/training, creative play and it tones my creative muscles. In the end, no matter what I have tried, I fall back to the natural way I create. I stay TRUE to my own style. I think that is the first time I have said that I have a style. I have always said I don't have a "style" but I suppose we all have a style. I don't have a fashion style that is, unless rainbow flip flops and the love for hoodies is a style. I "try" for style but it is not me.
Enough about that.
Inspire. A word that I feel is part of my purpose. My hope is that I will INSPIRE you to create something by something I have done...thing is, you have to see it to be inspired which is a sticky situation with me because I have a hard time showing something I have created (outside the blog.) I am not a very good self promoter so for me to say "look at what I did" feels unnatural to me because I don't see things like you do. (same boat?)
If I see an outcome that I like, I share the steps of how I did it, point out the imperfections, highlight some ideas and then encourage you to try.
I am rambling. I think you get the point.
Believing. I believe in God and I believe what HE says. I respect that everyone has their own beliefs, values and morals. I try surround myself with those who have the same as me as well as those who don't.
Possible - I am really working on this one. nuff said. See Inspire."Shhhh" shut up and listen. (I'm not saying that to you, it is for me..but it just may be something for you, too) and is not really a word but more of an action:The answers we are looking, listening and waiting for need to be asked first, duh...then we have to be quiet and patient...and while we are being quiet and patient, we might as well practice joy.
If you are still here, thank you. Sorry for the Rambling, just be glad it wasn't a video of my blah blah blahing..that would have REALLY been confusing.
