Get some coffee, this might be a long one.
Recently one of the things that I have struggled/arm wrestled and yes, sorta worried about when designing products, teaching classes, blogging, sharing on Instagram and Facebook and all of the others things that come along with this creative life I live is HOW to reach you. I have often wondered, temporarily thought and even sorta started to search the Internet on HOW to reach everyone when I had to point at myself own self and say "HEY!!!"
The fact of the matter is, I can't.
I am a little ashamed to have even just said/typed that because who am I to think that I can reach everyone ?!? I suppose in my defense, I don't mean every single person on the face of the earth but you know what I mean.
It is not about how many "friends" I have (even though Facebook says I can only have 5,000) The fact about that is even though there are "5,000" don't let that fool you. I may have had that many people "friend" me but you and I both know that 99% of them do not actually know me, read my blog or really anything else.
It is not about "followers" although I will admit that I look at the numbers every time I post something and will even be posting giveaways in the next few days and weeks in return for new "likers" "friends" "followers" and wait for it, love button double tappers.
Insert "Light bulb Moment"
I often draw a light bulb in my Documented Faith Planner when God ever so gently knocks me over the head.
Last week during Camp Create while Honey was speaking to us, that same light bulb flickered on a few times and I jokingly said, "okay, I can go home now...I know the answers"
All I need to do is work on the depth, HE will take care of the width.
THAT IS IT!!!
Again, I work on the depth and HE will handle the width.
Thank you Honey, for more than you will ever know...
Thank YOU friend/follower/liker/love button double tapper for being right here, right now
and the best for last, THANK YOU LORD for blessing me with everything you have done, everything that you are doing and everything that you have planned for me.
