Practice:Process

It is Saturday, January 21..5:15am...it is raining, it is quiet...everyone is asleep (even coco) and I am working, thinking, listening, doodling, reading, absorbing and something just clicked...a big click....I want to shout..LOUD...but I can't...because it is 5:15 and it would mess up my quiet and for sure wake up the dog, and then he would whine for a bone, and then it would just go a tad downhill from there...so for now... lucky you..you get my silent shout!

Fastfoward...7:30 am

Dog is awake...so is the Valentine..still raining, coffee pot empty...still raining...thoughts down...dreams spoken...doodle doodled and just so you know....I am getting it..seeing more of the big picture

and along with that...YOU are a HUGE part of my process...

Inspired by Red

I made a HUGE creative mess yesterday based on the color red...and it reminded me how much I LOVE red...especially RED barns...in PA

RED doors...and RED bricks...also in PA...
 RED hearts....RED cabinets (& my mom making gravy)

RED motorcycle gear on little boyss named Ben (& Kawasaki green on bigger boys named Jack!) RED felt..and things made from felt... and a few others things..

 
what Inspires you??

Think about it...journal about it...create something..

It does not have to be a color...

It could be a place...a person..a smell...a season....

Just think...

and create! 

Totally Inspired..Again

Home is good and I am glad to be here, but am already missing all of my Inspired Friends!

My mind is jam packed and over stimylated with inspiration, ideas and thoughts therefore, I do not have a whole lot of words to post quite yet...nor pictures because I did not take any.  Luckily, for Facebook (what did we ever do with out it?) the event and the fun, funny and good Helmar times have been tagged there, like this one of me and Ma Shuck...

Inspired Ideas Spring 2011!

 
I have been creating a little more than I had lead you to believe, but I could not tell or show you what I was up to..until now!

Last fall, after the last Inspired Ideas came out, I immediately contacted Amy Powers of Inspire Co. to tell her how much I loved loved loved it...and well, one thing lead to another and I am THRILLED and blessed to be part of the new Spring 2011 issue!!!!
