but in the attempt to move boxes, pack kits and make some sort of sense out in the ol' Shead-teau, I ran into a can of spray paint and a "Ball Jar" and instantly thought of my sweet friend, Julie....

 

New Things for a New Year

Today we are cleaning out drawers, throwing out the old and donating the gently worn and loading in the new....like socks...Just like there are new laws for a new  year, at our house, the new law is that when we throw socks into the hamper, they MUST be deposited in as a pair.  I will let you know how many violations occur...

 
I am also working on a new little project called  {Make It}(located on the upper right sidebar) where you will be inspired (I hope!) to create or re-create based on the project featured.  I am excited to announce that the online store Scrapbook N Stickers is my NEW sponsor for this project and besides my little {Make It} project, you will see more from Kim Hodges, Scrapbookn'Stickers and moi in the future! 

Last for today..this coming year I am participating in Ali's "One Little Word" 2011 class over at Big Picture Classes. as a student!!  Personally, I have not decided on my word, but have a few in mind and still have a few days to refine the list (yes, I have a list!) I would love to tell you that it was snowing when we got there because it was dang cold enough, but actually, it was the resort making snow...but the kids still loved it:

Wondering what I did??...I call myself a "Lodge Mom" and that I was...I sat stitched, read a new book..and loved it!
