do you remember the Palmolive commercial?  Okay, so I was looking at the Scrapbook Oasis pictures from this past Freestyle Weekend (are you sick of hearing about it yet?..me neither!) anyway, I recognized these hands....

Freestyle

No pressure, no lines, no restrictions..it is almost as if..If it doesnt match, if it looks a bit to "shabby", just thrown together, maybe even a bit too cluttered...then it is just perfect!

A whole new calm, refreshing world...just like where we freestyled!

how do you freestyle? 

you know that song.."cuz i'm free, ta do what I want, any ol time....." that is the concept!

praying, doodling, baking chocolate chip cookies and/or wedding cakes, watching Jack perfect his latest skateboard trick, helping with homework, doing laundry, ordering a large diet coke with extra ice (only from Mc'D's!) downloading a new font, , scrapbooking, e-mail someone at 4am, feeding Snowflake (mom's bunny) coordinating fabric, re-tying Ben's shoes, doing more laundry, REALLY loving paper, sitting at the local skatepark, feeding Coco (jack's dog) working at the kids school, loving my boys, reorganizing my scrap room, turning trash into treasures, sewing, did I mention laundry???

I love being a mom, I love paper...solids & prints, florals & stripe...ditto for fabric, I love the movies "The Notebook" & Serendipity...and at the time, "Titanic"

I love to scrap, sew, bake, paint...I am a regular ol' suzy homemaker...

I like straight lines & crooked bangs, flowers in the garden and on fabric, just not on my clothes. I love the color red, just not on me, and prefer the color baby blue, camoflauge & leopard prints over the color pink, stripes and solids ( but only sometimes) I like fake fingernails but never fake diamonds, I love brides and new babies, but  really don’t like to go to showers, I love ice, but not from the regular freezer…from in the bag from the gas station….I am SIMPLY COMPLICATED

I am ina blog rut...I have been semi-creating, stuff for teachers, friends, strangers and have been lookin at others blogs, just have not updating my own! A little confused...day eight

So I am not following directions very well...I checked all weekend for a lead from Rhonna for days 6 & 7...and got day eight today...so I will share my day eight and be creative about 6 & 7.....I have to say, prior to looking at todays word, I had a big discussion with God about needing some guidence and strength...and low and behold, the word o' the week is just that STRENGTH!

how do ya like that!  although I am still struggling, even after reading, re-reading and then recapping, with the words right infront of me, I still have a sense of struggle...It would seem that  the only thing that those two words have in common are the first three letters...but in reality....it is the struggles that make us stronger, promoting strength...I guess I should say "bring it on"!
