In order to teach you better, I need to practice and that is what I have been doing with my new smaller sized Dylusions Art Journal. It is a class in the works but I am not one to keep too much from you, so I decided to share the pages I did yesterday:
I think it is important not only for myself, but a great reminder for you that "your work is your work." If it looked exactly like mine, it would not be authentic-ly yours..
Now, don't get me wrong. I am happy, flattered and just fine with you doing it exactly like mine, but only AFTER you play around, try and practice with your own style. The key is to practice practice practice...and then practice some more. It is a really good "excuse" to sit and doodle, because you are "practicing"..
and while you are practicing, write out words that are on your mind and not only think about the meaning of those words, put them into motion.
p.s For the love of pete, don't forget to enjoy the process. That is one of the most important parts!
