Monday afternoon, just minding my own business doing a little pile tiddy-ing when God plopped an idea into my head.
Okay, back up to Saturday when the husband was cleaning out the garage and came across a can of Gold spray paint. He handed it to me and I promptly put it away in the shed.
Okay, back to as I was pile-tiddy-ing... I was thinking about how all the boys want for Christmas is cash and gift cards. It sure isn't like the good ol' ToysRUS days (although I ALWAYS dreaded that store) anyways..this is right about the time when God plopped the idea into my head.
Gold spray paint + a small ball jar + twine & and tag = THE BEST GIFT CARD HOLDER EVER IN THE HISTORY OF EVERYTHING.
This tutorial is pretty darned explanatory but I was so excited, I took photos anyways.
Exhibit #1 - That spray paint (you can use an color for other holidays and celebrations, but this color went PERFECT with my holiday home and, hey.. I am NOT a GOLD lover unless it is something I can trade in for cash, just sayin.) Exhibit #2 - Place lid and jar onto a piece of cardboard and well, spray paint them.
While those are drying, stamp a small tag with Jack's name it. JUST KIDDING. I wanted to see if you were still reading.
Exhibit #3 Once the jar and lid are dry, put a gift card inside the jar, put the cap on it, tie a piece of twine/jute around the lid and tie on the tag.
Now, just sit and look at how stinkin cute it is.
This concludes the BEST GIFT CARD HOLDER EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD Tuesday Tutorial!
