I have put away the felt, the muslin, stitching and "other stuff" and have pulled out the paint, paper, brushed, adhesive, stamps in preparation for my upcoming workshops.
I am practicing my art journaling in order to be a better teacher and every time I start to play, well, create, I am reminded of how much I love to make things and it reminded me of something I read in The Artisan Soul:
I am not a "journaler" persay, but I do love and find it easy to express my thoughts using paint, paper and words.
Here are some words I cut out of a big book I scored at the Salvation Army on Saturday: Part of the process of my art journaling classes is to read a book for its good words. When you find one, it seems to jump out at you and that is when you must cut them out and use them. In addtion to the words I cut out this morning, I also cut these out and adhered them to a page in my journal:
Today, make a choice.
