For the past week my Journaling Bible has been, lets say, "on a little roadtrip" therefore I do not have it to journal and doodle in. When I left it behind (with some very caring people) as I drove away I felt like I was leaving one of my kids at daycare.
uggh..
After a few days of being homesick for my own bible, I decided to venture into another Bible I have here that my sweet friend Jill gave me last year. It is a "daily" Reading Bible.
Last night during Monday Night Football, I sat and doodled on the few blank pages at the back of the Bible. If you are just starting out and are nervous, go to the back and see if there are some blank pages. That is the perfect place to start.
I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to remind you that you DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE A JOURNALING BIBLE. You do not have to have a 2" margin and you do not have to have a bunch of supplies.
All you need is the Word and a pen, well and in this case, some watercolors.
and yes, it does bleed but so did HE.
To read more about my process you can check out this post.
and speaking of Bible Journaling, may I hint that you should check back here on Thursday for an exciting announcement?
