If you ever have a question that you want to ask me, just ask me. I don't share everything here on the blog but if you have ever been to one of my classes you know that if you ask, I will babble.
Here is a look at me babbling about Bible Journaling during our meet up in San Jose at A Work of Heart Studio.
So last week during my visit to The Making Place , I was asked the question "How do you find time to do all of the things you do?" and my answer was quick and simple.
"I give God my time first and HE provides the time I need"
and that is the truth.
If I don't do this, I am like a merry-go-round that has fallen off of its axis (aka whirling dervish) It took me a long time to trust all of this because I was in control (so I thought) but it is true.
Give God what you need more of and He will provide.
Here is more truth: I forget this principle some days because I am human. I get up and go on my own merry way without giving a shout out to God and sometime during that day, I feel it. I stumble, heck, sometimes I run straight into a brick wall (one I have most likely built myself) but when I do, I get back up, readjust myself and STOP to chat with God.
"Whoops, I am sorry that I thought I could handle today on my own. I know better than that but I still tried to do life on my own. I know I need YOU and I thankful that you are here to catch me every time I fall"
#duh.
That's all it really takes. Well, a little more than that, but I think you get the jist.
Now, I am not going to preach to you because that is not me. I am going to tell you what works for me and make a simple suggestion here. If you need more time (not like a 25th hour in the day) than can I suggest you start by giving God your time first everyday.
Just give it a whirl and don't say you don't have time. You have to make time, but seriously, it totally works.
Try it for a week. See what happens.
psst..
It is a promise so it is going to work.
Yay.
