While this looks like something I would have done, I am not the person who created for the cover of the "Country Living" magazine...
Since I bought the magazine and happily paged through it, I thought I would show you how YOU can recreate the little banners on the cover tree using my Sizzix Banners and Hearts die.
I happen to have a big roll of the red and kraft furniture binding but you can use whatever you want to make your banner.
"Where did I find the furniture binding?" (because I knew you would ask) I bought a big roll of it about four years ago at Wal-Mart in the craft/fabric section by the ribbons & trims.
Okay, cut a piece long enough to fold in half and will be the length of the big banner. IMPORTANT: place the fold BELOW the top cut line of the banner:
Make a Sizzix sandwich (cutting pad on the bottom, die, material, cutting pad on top) and run it through the Big Shot
Place the fold over a string of Jute
and place it happily on the little fake Christmas Tree you have on your kitchen table:
Oh and a bonus, a little heart. I would have had those on my tree if it were on the cover of Country Living, just sayin.
I wonder who I contact so that I can be on the cover of the 2015 Holiday issue..
