There always seems to be a little of this, that and the other to tell you about and hopefully by the end of this post, I will have a better title than that. Cut to the chase, as of today, I am still awaiting the binders. The binders I "pre-sold" in October to start the year of Documented Faith with. One of the most important things about Documented Faith is that it DOES NOT have to start on 1/1 but because it is all done, created in and documented in a planner/binder, it just works out that it starts when the calendar does.
Not in 2016, and again, it is okay.
I have not had any control over the situation and getting the product here in a timely manner. The only I mistake I made was to pre-sell it so early and then have to "update" so many times. Lesson learned. NO MORE PRE-SALES.
This is VERY hard because as I type this, I have a kit all ready to ship for JANUARY that goes along with the start of Documented Faith. This is where I remind myself that it does not have to start on the the first and I hope that I am able to communicate that well enough. I know that for some, they are all good with whatever, whenever, but not for others. I want people to trust me and to understand that this is all part of it. Patience in things that we have no control over. This may be reason number 642 I created Documented Faith. When things do not go the way they were planned to go, it is usually because it is not based around my plans.
#duh.
Speaking of my plans, I have also had to cancel the first two events I had on my 2016 calendar. Another lesson or two learned.
Happily, I have rescheduled my trip to Florida for April and I look forward to seeing those who can join me. I will be adding a few more dates to my 2016 schedule that have already been confirmed but other than that, I will be working a little more online. I know that it is not the best way to connect with you but I am going to be fine tuning my skills, offering more products, LOTS more videos, deepening my roots and letting HIM widen my reach. I feel that it is in preparation for what is to come. I don't know what that is but my job is to prepare.
THAT is my word.
PREPARE (which means: make ready for use)
(and there is the title to this post!. LOVE how HE works!)
I have to admit that as I just typed out the definition, it startles me a little (okay, a lot because I just realized my arm pits are sweaty and all I am doing is typing) and at the same time makes me feel excited. It is the similar to the feeling I had with OPEN in 2015. Being OPEN meant a lot of things, big, small, scary and awesome which really defines 2015. As we all prepare for a new year and bid farewell to 2015, my hope, wish and prayer for you is that your roots will continue to grow strong and deep. Thank you for your kindness, love and friendship. I look forward to and prepare for a great 2016, no matter what! Happy New Year from my family to yours...
