This is the second Part Four because the first Part Four was lost while I was typing even though I was sure to copy it, you know, just in case...except that when I went to paste my copy, it wasn't there.
Of course it wasn't. Anyways, here I am to continue sharing and I am sorry that some of you felt like I left you on a cliff as if it was like back in the 80's when the world wanted to know "Who shot JR!?!"
Okay, I had to go back and read a little to see where I had left off so I will rewind a little..
- I could not have a workshop at The Silos because there is no place to do something like that.
- I could not have anything at The Magnolia House because the contract said that nothing could be held without permission from the owners.
I only had been able to get two nights at The Magnolia House and with The Silos being closed on Sunday, our only time to go there would have been on Saturday anyways.
Here is what my "In A Perfect World" scenario brain was thinking...maybe if I asked for permission to have something there that was small and private and they said yes AND the Sunday night at The Magnolia House was available then mmmaaayyybbbeeee....
First I looked up to even see if Sunday night was open and went in with the thought that probably not because I had heard it through the grapevine that the ENTIRE 2016 year had booked in just two hours and I was already just flippin' lucky that I had gotten two nights.
Sorry that I said flippin lucky. I meant to say SUPER BLESSED.
Well, of course that Sunday was available, so I felt that was my lead to just ask. Long story short, I wrote out my WHY and WHAT and gave them a little "411" about me, prayed before I sent it and pressed the send button. The responses came back VERY QUICKLY because those darned Magnolia people are amazing with service (and that is the TRUTH)
"Probably not, but we will forward it on.."
I thought, "Well, it isn't a no" Then I got: "Thanks for your request, prooobbbaabbllly not, but....we will forward it on..." and again, I had the same "It isn't a no" thought and lastly, with a little of this, that and the other,
they said "okay"
I think all I said to my sister (she had happened to be here taking care of me that day) was "ohhhh myyyy goshhhh" and then I just starred at her. I had not told anyone besides John what I was thinking about so I had to explain it to her,.and yes, it was like I was in a dream.
Okay folks, long story short (and I hate saying that) is that I held a workshop while I was there and it was all that I had imagined minus the flowers in Mason jars and long flowwing tableclothes
No, Joanna Gaines did not come. Remember what I told you though? I don't want to meet her...I want to know her.
I know that many are you are going to be disappointed because you were thinking that I was going to announce an upcoming workshop at The Magnolia House or maybe sad that you were not invited to the workshop I held but I had to respect the wishes of the owners and with all of that said and reading between the lines....
I believe that God has a plan for every single one of us and that means everything happens just the way it is supposed to. Staying aligned with my "Dreaming BIG Dreams" motto, I hope that sooner than later I will be able to tell you about something we are working on and that we will return to Waco sooner than later. In the meantime, I would like to ask for prayers that God will show up in a big honkin' miraculous way as I stay open to His plan and that I continue saying YES before I know what HIS plan is.
To be continued.....
