The beauty of the Documented Faith Binder is that because it is unmarked, undated, etc. you can change it too..even smack dab in the middle of the year. It works out this way because again, it is all unmarked.
Here's the deal.
I have been moving pages, tearing out pages, rearranging dashboards (that I call dividers) and have been making lots of new tabs by SUBJECT. No more daily, no more monthly..at least for now. That does not in any way mean that you have to change anything in the way you have been using and creating in your binder. I am simply sharing what is working and not working for me.
I have several growing (and sliding) piles of papers with verses, quotes and notes that I have made over the two years of Documented Faith. In order for me to look back and find something, I needed a place for them all to all be kept and that is when I decided to use my binder as an organizational tool...by subject. #duh.
Similar to the binders of sermon notes I have collected the past 13 years at Saddleback.

Remember, you do not have to change anything that you are doing now. Continue documenting your faith exactly as you have (or have not but are going to start now!) and just be inspired to maybe add in a little of this or that along the way. Here is what I did:
I took all of the unused pages out (there are a lot) and put all of the "monthly" two page spread with squares (see below) in the back of the binder

and just worked with the remaining pages as seen in the photo below:

With all of the pages set aside, I grabbed card stock scraps that measured about 1 1/2" wide. I folded the strips in half, added on
these stickers and trimmed them based on the length of each word.

Once I had all of my tabs made, I put them in alphabetical order (sorta)

and then grabbed my glue stick and started adhering them onto one page at a time. I did not use them all..but most of them. Remember, no rules here.

So now what?
Well, I am writing, adding in and journaling on my pages based on the subject. I am able to go through my piles and either punch holes in my papers and add them into the binder or I can re-write them into the spaces. Re-writing is NOT A BAD THING. We all need to write, rewrite and learn the verses. NO excuses.
As an example: The week 31 verse is about Forgiveness. Something we must do and practice doing over and over and over. When I think of that, the term "grace card" comes to mind and that reminded me of another verse (it is always "one thing leads to another with me") So here is my GRACE tabbed page. There is a little more than some of the other pages I have done. Sometimes it is just a quote taped to the page, sometimes there is so much I just write right over and through the lines.
Here is a look at a bit of my PRAY tabbed page

and as I was running, God gave me the idea to use the little two page squares as my #DailyFive MOVE tracker page!

So there ya have it..a little peek into how I have been using my
Binder. I would LOVE to see how you are documenting your faith so be sure to use the hashtag #documentedfaith when posting on IG or FB.
